Course Overview
What is UCAT?
An admissions test used in the selection process by a consortium of universities in the UK, Australia and New Zealand for their medical and dental degree programmes.
A test of Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Decision Making, and the Situational Judgment Test.
A two-hour, computer-based test administered around the world.
UCAT registration and test booking will commence on 28 June 2021. Tests will take place between 26 July and 29 September 2021.
UCAT results are only valid in the year of application.
UCAT scores ranges for the first four sections of the UCAT combined is 1200 (low) to 3600 (high). We are most proud that most of our UCAT students score 2800 to 3100!
ucat Test Format
The test consists of 5 sections: Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, and Situational Judgement.
Section I: Verbal Reasoning
Critically evaluate information presented in a written form
Section II: Decision Making
Make sound decisions and judgements using complex information
Section III: Quantitative Reasoning
Critically evaluate information presented in a numerical form
Section IV: Abstract Reasoning
Use convergent and divergent thinking to infer relationships from information
Section V: Situational Judgement
Capacity to understand real world situations and to identify critical factors and appropriate behaviour in dealing with them
